Dr. Jessica Lipsett was born and raised in Syracuse, NY. She attended Syracuse University, where she received her undergraduate degree in biology. She wanted to explore a different part of the country, so she made the move from Syracuse to Baton Rouge, Louisiana to attend the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine. While there, she was the president of the Surgery Club and was also awarded the Surgery Student of the Year award during her senior year. Dr. Lipsett spent her summers at North Carolina State University and Nutramax Laboratories in Maryland, doing research on canine arthritis and pain management. She graduated summa cum laude from veterinary school.
After school, Dr. Lipsett completed her rotating internship in small animal medicine, emergency, and surgery at Ohio State University. She then moved to Rochester, NY and started practicing in a small animal hospital. A few years later, life took her to Long Island where she began working as a house call veterinarian. This opportunity gave her the chance to get to know her clients and patients on a more personal level while practicing medicine in unique environments. She had the chance to relocate to Charlotte and absolutely loves living in the city.
Dr. Lipsett's professional interests include pain management and orthopedics. She has a very affectionate cat named Izzy, who loves car rides and food. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, camping, working out, and traveling.
"Thank you’ truly doesn’t come close to saying enough! We know that it is only because of your amazing doctors and techs (and maybe some divine intervention) that our puppy has made a full recovery!"
