Dr. Ashley Jackson lives in Charlotte, NC with her husband, dog (German Shepherd x Belgian Malinois) and 3 cats (orange tabby and 2 torti’s). Dr. Jackson’s special interests within the veterinary field are surgery, dentistry, preventative medicine, and behavior. She has plans to pursue further training in Fear Free practices and Dentistry techniques as they are so important in helping our furry friends live their best lives. She is a member of the AVMA and NCVMA.
Dr. Jackson graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed her undergraduate degree at Assumption College, where she was fortunate enough to play softball all four years. In her off time, she enjoys spending time outside on Lake Norman with her family and pup. She is also a big DIY fan and has many home projects she wants to complete. Dr. Jackson is very excited to join the AMH team, to further her knowledge, and strive to practice best medicine for her patients.
"I have bragged to everyone who has a pet about AMH. Everyone from all of the desk ladies to the ICU techs, to the vets...they all pay special attention to him and treat him like he is their favorite. I thank God for AMH and all of their employees."
