AMH Internal Medicine Referral Center
Internal medicine is the medical specialty concerned with the diagnosis, management, and non-surgical treatment of unusual or serious diseases. At Animal Medical Hospital and 24 Hour Urgent Care, our combination of talented veterinarians and top medical technology allows us to effectively diagnose and treat your pet.

How can I make an appointment?
Internal Medicine appointments are by referral only. If your pet would benefit from an appointment with our internist, please speak with your primary veterinarian about sending over a referral. All referrals should be sent by email to clientservice@animalmedical.net or via fax (704) 358-3564.
What do I need to bring for my 1st appointment?
The internist will need the last 2 years’ worth of medical history from your primary veterinarian. If your pet is on any medications or supplements please bring a list of the medication, when your pet receives it and how often.
How do I get in contact with my internist?
If you have follow-up questions or would like to refill a medication that your internist prescribed, please email internalmedicine@animalmedical.net. The internal team will check this email throughout the day and will get back to you as quickly as possible.
